Miyuni has the ability to hear the Universal Melody, the magical symphony made up of … everything. Every single thing (and most non-things) has a song or sound of its own. Atoms! Dirt! The elements! The sky! Weather conditions! Void! Gravity! Time! The concept of dance! Emotions! People, animals, robots, and so on and so forth.

Powercap is A Thing so it won't always work — fully, partially, whatever! — in Ellipsa, but here are some ideas for what it could tell her:

✨ What someone is (i.e. regular human; magical being; artificial being created under xyz condition; werewolf pretending to be a mermaid pretending to be a human; soulless husk; ratatouille)
✨ Age
✨ How powerful they are and in what ways, physically, magically, etc
✨ Affinities and associations
✨ What condition their soul is in
✨ Their nature — important personality traits, character arcs
✨ If they're particularly closely intertwined with someone or something, their songs might harmonise, overlap, or otherwise connect with or call back to each other in some way

What I need to know: Can she sense any of this? All of it? Some of it but not others? What does it tell her? Does she just get the music, or general vibes, or can she discern details and context?

Miyuni can absolutely sense everything about Rinku, she's an open book anyway. In order:
-Human; she's suspected but not confirmed to be an advanced evolution in the XROSS∞BEAT arc but she doesn't know or care whether that's really the case.
-18 as of June 30, 2024
-Rinku has been steadily getting stronger as a mage and swordfighter in Ellipsa but is still outclassed by most of her CR. However, she does have an abnormally high resistance to mental damage (but not mind control), speaks monkey, and has access to the XROSS∞BEAT ability (essentially, collabs are magic definitely scientific and can create sound waves that resonate in people's souls; normally this just makes an audience happier but has been used for hypnosis, giving an evil AI who just started growing a soul emotions and a reason not to destroy the world, and been exploited by third parties to steal the performers' souls with an eventual aim of turning the rich into immortal AIs).

-No soul damage here. Yet.
-Rinku is naïve, gullible, optimistic, good-natured, wants to be everyone's friend, full of love, and driven to make the whole world happy. She also really, really wants to get stronger after all this time in Ellipsa and being treated like just someone to protect who can't help anyone.
-Rinku loves everyone, so if you ask her, she should be able to do this with everyone she's spoken to. Their own opinions may vary. That said, her closest CR is probably her big sister, Evangeline abnormalizes.

✨ She's pretty capable with her Seasons powers and she's a strong fighter, but a lot of her strength comes from her equipment... She can definitely tell that both her suit and her weapons are Powerful though.
✨ She's a summer, so fire!
✨ Scarred but whole. Her soul absolutely has been attacked directly (thanks pale damage) but it's healed.
✨ Flirt, shamelessly herself, traumatized and afraid of loss - in Ellipsa learning to let herself get attached to people again. Cares deeply, no sense of self-worth. Also a monster lover but she also just said that out loud in her first meeting so.
✨ Barghest is her Fate/ Servant, so their songs might overlap, and Rinku is her little sister so they might resonate a little.

She can know all of this, I'm good with that!

✨ magical beast with the capability of taking on a "human" form, is the very very very distant descendant of an (initially mortal) being that managed to grasp immortality before getting cut into lots of pieces and now regrets the immortality thing so strongly all their descendants have "PUT ME OUT OF MY MISERY" auras

✨ Physically about as strong as you'd expect of a non-magical apex predator of her size, tends a little more toward speed/endurance rather than raw power. Magically... idk how "can manipulate metal from liquid to solid and back + mold it into shapes" would be. Probably low
✨ Metal with a dormant/latent ability for electricity (in the sense of like. being a genetic carrier for it, not something she can activate). Healing and poison and an overall sense of sharpness.
✨ Soul is in good condition! There are LOTS of healed up nom-marks from Snek and it'd be easy to tell that at one point she had very little of it left for an extended period of time (thanks dropping, thanks Snail's terrible losing streak)
✨ A tendency to a temper that has gotten a little better. Prideful and more than a little vain. BIG soft compassionate spot that she tends to guard carefully, but her character arc has largely been unclenching from around it and letting it start to guide her actions again.
✨ looks at the datemates. also I think I mentioned this on C-1's permissions but there is always at least a bit of dissonance to her song— these days it's not outright clashing so much as a bit of added flavor, like an unresolved chord, or a minor when you'd expect a major, etc. When she's upset or feeling isolated it starts devolving into jangles of unpleasant noise and can be sensed as tied to the whole Bad Vibes Aura thing.

I am big time jumping the gun with this one, but I'm working up to enough icons I can throw her on the TDM and I just think the potential CR is really interesting ok. POWERFUL DERGS WHO SENSE THE TRUE NATURE OF THE WORLD,

✨ A powerful but detached spirit of light (and to a lesser extent time) in the shape of a dragon, who was once just a girl with much lesser versions of those powers. Her core is the girl + a powerful magical nuclear reactor, basically. (If she's in a humanish form it is a separate magical construct that the true derg body is puppeting.)
✨ At least 10,124 years old. Almost certainly older, but probably not by more than a hundred years or so.
✨ Technically extremely powerful, but it's very self-contained— mostly in the process of making up/fueling her immortal and completely self-sustaining body, but enough is left over to infuse into objects if she chooses. (Destruction of another one of her kind released enough magic to cause a mushroom cloud, though, as an example of how much power is bound up in there.)
✨ Holy (evil and illusion-banishing) light, time (particularly the rewinding thereof), healing as an extension of both (light to purify, time to rewind wounds).
✨ Her soul has, uh. Been completely burnt and melted by the immense power comprising her self, and molded into something largely new and dangerously close to a mere beast's. There are fragments that escaped destruction, but they're disjointed and can't function the way they used to.
✨ Self-sacrificing, fiercely protective and loving of what's hers. More than a little spacey and disjointed thanks to the soul/mental damage, but what's there is both intensely curious and a little disdainful of the average human life. ...Meanwhile, the part of her that was once a girl went through a pretty awful character arc where she beat herself up for years for not being what was expected of her and lost nearly everyone she loved for that failure, before willingly turning herself into a human seal on a calamitous evil for 100 years to save the rest of her kingdom. AND THEN SEVEN YEARS LATER DELETED HER PERSONHOOD FOR BASICALLY THE SAKE OF DOING IT AGAIN. she may have been punishing herself just a little.
✨ Her song leaves distinct spaces for two other melodies.

SONG SPECIFICS BECAUSE TOTK DID REALLY GOOD SHIT WITH THIS: her main melody is ethereal, with the the primary instrument being an erhu, but after the first few notes of one melody it slips, confused, before sliding into something else.

In other words, the sound of someone who has lost most of herself in the process of becoming something other, but refuses to be completely subsumed.

Miyuni is free to sense all of this in varying amounts, but probably not all at once? The light dragon's nowhere near her power level, but is enough of a pure distillation of what she is that her song is like. The audio equivalent of staring directly into blinding light and trying to pick out the details of something. (maybe the gong in her theme bonks her concentration, idk how to convert the experience lmao)
